Project Liberty, a nonprofit that researches and advocates on internet issues, says it has received expressions of interest totalling over $20 billion to buy TikTok. The investors have not been disclosed, but Tim Berners-Lee, who invented the World Wide Web, and MIT computer scientist David Clark, are supporting the effort, Axios reported. An investor roadshow will begin next week in San Francisco and New York City, said a spokesperson for Project Liberty.
