Director, Human Resources
Smita Ray is the Director of Human Resources at McCourt Partners where she is responsible for working closely with the leadership team in developing and executing HR strategies focused on performance and talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, recruiting, and employee engagement.
Prior to working for McCourt, Smita served for 7 years as a Director of Recruiting at Carmel Partners where she was an integral part of the HR leadership team and successfully led and oversaw the talent acquisition function. Before Carmel Partners, Smita was a Senior Talent Advisor at Irvine Company, where she was the sole talent acquisition support for the Accounting, Finance, and Portfolio Management teams of Irvine Company’s Apartment Community division.
Smita holds a BS in Chemistry from Mumbai University and a Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources from Symbiosis Center in India.
