Since July 2026, Joe Riley serves as President of McCourt Global, where he leads MG’s executive team and portfolio companies and partners with Founder and Executive Chairman Frank McCourt to execute the firm’s strategy. He joined McCourt Global in 2019 and previously served as Chief Financial and Operating Officer. During his tenure, Joe has overseen key initiatives across MG’s portfolio companies, playing an instrumental role in the sale of MGG and the Global Champions League, helping incubate and build the Premier Jumping League and serving in interim executive roles at Project Liberty Labs and McCourt Partners Real Estate.
He previously served as Managing Member and Chief Administrative Officer of Psilos Group, a healthcare-focused private equity firm, where he sat on the investment committee, led investments and exits, and served on portfolio company boards, alongside overseeing finance, infrastructure, and administration. Earlier in his career, he spent six years at PwC, where he served as a key accounting partner to Apollo, advising the firm on buyout transactions in the healthcare and media sectors.
He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS from Georgetown University.
